MIRU Backpack

Final Year Project

In today’s society, people are fashion and image conscious where they easily change their bags for fashion or utility. This constant changing of bags would prompt numerous transfer of their essential items, in doing so, causing them to miss out and forget some essential item. An analysis of the problem indicates that most of them are small and hard to look for in their bags and their fast paced lifestyles does not allow time for them to check for each item.

In this series of bags, an organiser is specially designed with colour codes to prompt memory of these small items and also with a detachable function to allow for easy removability and transfer between the bags.

In addition, each bag is designed for the compromise of the function of being able to quickly check for your items and yet keeping your privacy.

Magnet tabs

The magnet tabs keep the the organiser held upright and attached to the bag without it falling down.

Laser cut back

This cut out design is inspired by the japanese pattern motif. This cut out pattern serves the purpose of bringing function and style, allowing for transparency to see the organiser and also a touch of uniqueness.
The push button tabs are to allow the user to reach for the items in the bag and the organiser easily.
